Last Sunday Dhillon was meant to come to my house at 11am and spend the day with me and help me cook scones for my mum for Mother's day. His stoopid friend Bob got too drunk and had to stay at his house so Dhillon couldn't come and he BROKE HIS PROMISE hehe. As punishment I said he had to spend this entire weekend with me, no friends, no family friends, just moo & hunyo time lol.
So Saturday we headed out into the city. We were trying to think of something to do but as it was 5pm there really wasn't much aside from dinner, drink or movies, so we did all 3. We parked in Little Bourke St and headed up to Melbourne Central in the rain. Watched 'What Happens in Vegas'. It was pretty good, lots of giggly bits lol.
After movies we went to the bar where the rooftop cinema is. It was raining pretty hard at this time so we scurried around under the umbrellas to get to the bar and the heaters. Was nice up there and would be great on a not rainy evening.
After a drink we headed along to Gaylord Indian restaurant in Tattersalls Lane. Last time we went we had a banquet which was really good, so we had it again! Had 3 entrees which were a potato fried thing lol, chicken and some sort of meat, for mains was a chicken curry, a beef (or maybe lamb?) curry, rice, lentil curry, yogurt and naan bread and some ice cream for desert. Oof we were stuffed full lol.
On the way home we stopped at Video Ezy to get some DVD's. We were watching Munich and I was trying so hard not to fall asleep, it was quite boring and Dhillon likes to have the subtitles turned on, so I can't help but read them and it's kind of hypnotic. We turned off the DVD early and then he realised the IPL was on TV and he wanted to watch that. My reply? Hell no go to sleep!!
Sunday we went to have brunch at The Pavilion in Doncaster, cos it's close hehe. Turns out they have a 2 course lunch special for $19.90, bargain!! I had salt and pepper squid for entree and Dhillon had minestrone soup, both followed by pasta carbonara as the main. Yummyo. Came home and watched the end of the DVD then I released him, allowed him some space away from me hehe.
I had a nice weekend, I dunno about him haha .. nah he had a nice one too. Best part? Walking around in the rain in the city huddled under my umbrella :D
