Thursday after work Dhillon and I headed out to see Inception at Eastland Hoyts cinemas. I had read a review beforehand and went in prepared for the movie to confuse me. To my delight rather than confuse me it had me hooked in the whole way through! I highly recommend you go and see it.

Friday after work I picked up Dhillon and we went to Doncaster for a spot of shopping. I bought some shoes on super special at Myer, Sandler flats for work for 1/3 the original price! After shopping we had dinner at Groove Train upstairs. I had a yummy beef salad and Dhillon had a veal parma. After food we came home and watched Date Night on the laptop.

Saturday we played netball in the rain. The result was a draw leaving us on top of the ladder for the first final. We will most likely lose this week as we will be down 3 players but even if we do, we will have another chance to get into the grand final. After netball I dropped Dhillon home so he could do some preparation for his citizenship test, which he passed today with flying colours. In the evening he arrived with some Indian food from our favourite take away place in Ringwood and we watched another movie.

Sunday morning we had breakfast at the Coffee Club before Dhillon headed off to do his tax return with Sid. I called Mum out for a spot of shopping and both of us made some nice purchases.

Friday evening after work Krisa arrived to pick me up and we made out way into the city to attend a Cupcake Tasting Night held by the lovely Sheryl of Cupcake Central. We arrived a little late so missed out on the bulk of the cupcakes but still had a few to devour. I was itching to try the salted caramel cupcake and was disappointed they had all been eaten by them time we got there. Lucky for me, Sheryl had a secret stash in a box and I must say it was delicious! Possibly my new most favourite flavour. Dhillon came along a little later and drove me home around 10.

Saturday Suzanna came along to watch us play netball as she will be joining the team next season when Krisa leaves. We won again with one more game until the finals begin. While it would be awesome to win the final, I kind of hope we don’t as then we will be put up a grade and start losing again! In the evening I watched the remainder of Gossip Girl (which I have now finished) before snoring the night away.

Sunday I met up with Ms Krisa at Glen Waverly for a feed and a movie. We ate at Airstream, I had pesto penne which was warm and filling. The movie we watched was Toy Story 3 3D. It was really funny and sweet, definitely worth the 11 year wait from the last Toy Story.

Friday night Dhillon came over for a night in. We drank some champagne and cooked up some pasta bake. At about 9pm, the twerp who regularly knocks over all the garbage bins in the street decided to do his usual noisy rout, only this time he decided to smash up the hard waste collection pile of an over the road neighbour. Dhillon being the strong man he is went outside to investigate and I followed not long after. There were toys and junk all across the street, a tv was smashed with glass everywhere along with a box of crockery. He had pushed a lounge chair into a car parked on the street, luckily the car was OK. Other neighbours had come out and 2 called the police. We found out later in the evening he was arrested up at Ringwood Station about 20 minutes later for being drunk in public. I have been a bit nervous in my house since then. It’s not that I expect him to do any real damage, I think he’s just a teenager, but my place is the front unit and my lounge room is only about 3 meters from the street, so I hear any and everything that goes on out there. Every noise I hear at the moment makes my heart beat a bit faster. I will get over it in a couple of days but I can’t wait till I can live in a proper house.

Anyway, Dhillon slept over and we got up early to go shopping on Saturday morning. I had showered and was dressed when a wave of nausea suddenly came over me and I almost threw up in the sink. Before you jump to any conclusions, I am not pregnant. We didn't go shopping and I felt pretty queasy for the rest of the day, so much so I stayed in instead of going out to St Kilda with the girls from work.

Sunday Dhillon and I watched Shrek 4 in 3D at Eastland. It was pretty good, I found Shrek 3 funnier though. In the evening I watched lots of Gossip Girl episodes, I’ve watched 2.5 seasons over 2 weekends. So much so that I was dreaming about Chuck Bass last night O.o

Hi blog land, sorry I haven’t stopped by for a while. Now that it’s been so long I can’t remember what I did the weekend before last. Let me check my Google calendar …

… ahh yes, we played netball in the rain, with only 6 players, and still managed to win. Dhillon and I hired DVD’s, ate pizza and drank wine on Saturday night with a feed at the Pancake Parlour on Sunday.

Dhillon was in Sydney for work this week and he stayed with family friends on the weekend, so I was boy free. Friday night Mum and I went out for dinner and then I watched movies on the couch. Saturday I went to see Sex and the City in Gold Class with Suzanna and on Sunday I did some work and went for a walk. Yup that’s it in a nutshell.

In other news my favourite boss resigned from work last week with Thursday being his last day. Needless to say I was upset, for 2 reasons. One was he was leaving, two was the person who I believe will take over his position, but hasn’t as yet, is an evil control freak. I don’t like them, I refuse to work under them and I will be looking for a new job in the very near future. My boss has only been gone for 2 days and the office is like crazy town, it is not a happy place to be working in. Another thing to make me want to leave is the fact that I requested something, and after all the blood, sweat and tears I have put into my job the last 4 months, it was rejected. Not happy Jan.
