Hii

So here I am in my new house (unit). Will be 2 weeks on Sunday, just got the net connected yesterday hehe.

Moving day was insane. All my deliveries arrived before I made it to the house for the first time, but only had to do 2 trips with Marty’s ute to get my stuff over here. I didn’t sit down for the whole day, 8am to 10pm and by the time I got into bed a conked out. The following night was odd cos it was really windy outside and there were all these unfamiliar street and house sounds, so I really didn’t get much sleep. Things now are great, I’m nice and settled, only thing left to do is put the computer desk together in the spare room and unpack the last few bits and pieces.

I haven’t met any of the neighbours yet. There are 4 units in my block and I think each one only has one person in it, 2 older ladies, a middle aged man and me. I’m at the front which is good. Still need to buy cooking pots and pans and things like that, but I will buy them as I need them, and an iron but I didn’t realise how bloody expensive they are!

Before the move Kelly and I went to Erryn and Chris’ wedding. It was really nice, she looked like a big gorgeous meringue and he cried hehe. The food was nice and the people on our table were cool to talk to as well. Apart from that haven’t done anything much in the way of excitement.

:)

So I am almost set for the move on Saturday. Got towels and cushions and a lamp and some cutlery from Target during the week, also tried to get back into the gym, only been 3 times in the past 2 weeks cos I’ve been busy.

Saturday Dhillon and I spent another fun filled day shopping. We bought a fridge, washing machine and microwave for $1,200 with free installation and delivery. They all turned out to be LG haha. Also popped into the furniture place to pay the balance for my purchases. In the afternoon we went to the movies, he wanted to watch Eagle Eye and I wanted to watch Wall-E. Neither one of us would give in so we ended up watching both! Wall-E at 400 then Eagle Eye at 630 hehe.

In the evening we went to pick up Bob and Michael before heading in to Chapel St. Michael is a really tall, well built guy, and as we picked him up he looked at my little car and couldn’t imagine himself fitting in. He actually offered me to drive his brand new BMW 7 series (like brand spanking new) but cos it is so big I thought I might have trouble parking it. Lucky he fit into my car quite comfortably.

Sunday was a really lazy day, even though I was the designated driver and only had a couple of drinks I was so bloody tired that I just fluffed around on my bed all day.

Today is a public holiday in South Australia and cos I pay SA people and there wasn’t going to be much work to do today I took the day off to start packing. It’s so annoying, I think I have a layer of dust in my lungs lol, oh well, it will all be over soon enough :D
