Friday night my Mummy-Oh got home from the U.S of A so Robyn, Marty and I went over with a pizza to welcome her home and have a feed. She had been awake for almost 48 hours due to flight delays and was slightly delirious. I think she appreciated the food though. She got me some of my favourite perfume and also a bottle of Dhillon’s fave too which I gave to him as his birthday present.

Saturday I got up a bit earlier than normal and took Reggie to Beaurepairs to get a nail removed from one of my tyres and the puncture fixed. I sat in the waiting room for 40 boring minutes watching the Grand Final breakfast on TV while they performed the operation. Once that was finished I went over to Eastland to go to the Post Office to organise for my mail to be redirected. Once that was done I had a quick browse through the shops and bought 2 tops from TEMT and also dropped by Coles. In the afternoon I picked up Robyn and we drove into Hawthorn to visit the Cupcake Central shop. We met Suzanna and Kelly and all enjoyed the sweet, sweet goodness along with coffees, hot chocolates and juices. After our fill of cupcakes we ordered some Schnitz and headed home.

In the evening, Dhillon and I caught the train into the city and met up with his friend’s Pam, Geri and Laura before heading to Bond Bar for Dhillon and Geri’s joint birthday evening. The club had a latin themed night on and Dhillon got way drunk so we danced until the wee hours of the morning. Drunk Dhillon decided that before we went home he need to eat KFC which he somehow succeeded to do in between falling asleep while chewing. We caught a taxi home and crashed into bed straight away.

Today my Mum came over for a bit. She is going to use my fridge while I live with Laura so she wanted to come and make sure it was what she was after. We had ham, cheese and tomato rolls for lunch and had a bit of a chat now she was more awake. After she left I finally got started on packing. I have sorted out the junk in my spare room, the bathroom cupboard and all the documents that were stuffed into my coffee table drawers!

11 days till moving day and I have barely started packing. Typical me leaving things to the last minute … oh well!

Friday night I chilled at home with a bottle of Moscato and watched some TV. Saturday Dhillon came with me to netball, which we unfortunately lost. In the evening we made our way to one of the northern suburbs for Dhillon’s friend’s housewarming. We had a few drinks and some pizza and then they pumped the Indian music and started dancing. I sat back and watched the show!

Sunday morning I scooted over to Robyn and Marty’s house to get some boxes. I ended up hanging out for a couple of hours before Andrew Smootie messaged me he was coming out to Car City so I went to pick him up at Ringwood Station. We had a look at a few cars then headed to Box Hill for a snack at China Bar before he headed off home.

Friday after work Dhillon and I watched The Other Guys at Glen Waverley. We were hungry so we got some hot chips from Burger Edge to eat in the cinema. They were pretty yummy and the movie was really funny!

Saturday Dhillon went to help his friend move house so I went out to lunch with my girlfriends from high school, Nathalie and Mele. We went to Sofia’s in Burwood and had a feast and a chat. We all had pasta and brought the leftovers home. I only just finished it off for dinner last night!

Sunday Dhillon and I went out for lunch at Airstream Cafe in Glen Waverley. I had the Hawaiian pizza which was really good. After lunch I made my way home as a lady was coming to pick up Ninja’s old transport cage that I was giving away. The lady taking it said she will use it for transporting her rescued bunnies so I’m glad it’s going to a good home.

Friday was my last day at Skilled. I have worked there just over 2 years and learned so much in my time there. My lunch break was spent at the hair dressers having a trim and some layers chopped into the front. In the evening I had a farewell dinner at Dumpling King with Suzanna, Cassie, Alex, Cheryl, Stacey, Serena, Bec, Christine and Andrew. We all ate and laughed heaps. After dinner I came home to Dhillon at my house. We watched TV before hitting the sack.

Saturday we played netball in the rain again, but this time we won! Dhillon went out in the evening and I bummed at home on the couch.

Sunday we were going to go out to lunch with Robyn and Marty but Marty had an upset stomach so instead I went shopping. I bought a couple of new tops from Target to wear to work. In the evening Dhillon dropped me off some chicken and black bean … yom!

Today I started my new job in the city. My train trip in was annoying, the train I had planned to catch was cancelled so I had no seat on the train I got on to. When we got to Richmond they decided to send the train directly to Flinders St rather than through the loop so everyone piled off. Then I missed the next one as it was packed full. I finally got to Parliament and to work with 1  minute to spare! I had an induction session all morning followed by a tour of the building. I had lunch with a workmate who also used to be at Skilled and spent time with my new team in the afternoon. My building is across from Parliament Station so it only took me 5 minutes to get from my desk to the platform and I was home within 45 minutes.
