Merry Christmas kids! I hope Santa brought you everything you could wish for.
Thursday we finished work at 1pm and headed down to Beer DeLuxe at Fed Square for the work Christmas party. We were greeted with a Christmas cracker and a cocktail … or 3. We stayed for a couple of hours before heading our separate ways for the break.
Friday I went in to work for an hour to finish of end of month reports. There were only 6 of us in the entire building so it was very quiet. After work I hit the gym then Laura and I did some last minute gift shopping at Melbourne Central and Myer. Once we were home she cooked up some M&M cookies. I picked up Dhillon from work in the afternoon and we grabbed some food at a Japanese cafe on Russell Street before settling in for the night.
Saturday morning Dhillon and I caught the train out to Mum’s house to help her get ready for lunch. Robyn and Marty arrived not long after, shortly followed by Nan and Pa. We sat down to eat at the table filled with ham, roast chicken, 3 different salads, a cheese platter and spinach dip. For dessert Mum had made a blueberry frozen thing with biscuits, custard and cream. Once we were stuffed full we exchanged gifts. I got Jadore perfume and a tshirt from the USA from Mum, pretty cups and saucers from Nan & Pa and $100 from Robyn and Marty. Dhillon is also going to give me some $$, along with Krisa and Matt for me to buy myself some personalised number plates for Reggie. I will order them in January!
Sunday I had a pretty lazy day, the only vaguely exiting thing I did was go downstairs to the gym for a run and a cycle. Monday Dhillon and I went to watch ‘Little Fockers’ at the new cinemas at Forest Hill. The movie was really funny and the new cinemas are very nice.
