Me: Mum my workfriend is coming over for half an hour tomorrow before we go out, I hope this is ok with you. (please note the sarcasm)
Mum: *laughs a bit* I don't mind
Me: You're a freak
Mum: I don't mind your friends coming over, it's just for meals .. I wanted to tidy up the house a bit.
Me: *amazed look*

Um, how dumb can you be? How can she think my friends will care about the state of the house more than the fact she screamed at me and made me uninvite them? She looks like more of a tool now and they wouldn't have given 2 shits about a few dishes in the sink.
